Youth Services
During the school year, we offer Conflict Resolution Education for "at-risk" delinquent youth with serious behavioral problems. These classes give Juvenile Court Counselors, School Administrators and Resource Officers disposition options and alternatives to school suspension.
If youth are dealing with insults, teasing, gossiping, rumors, feel targeted, and bullied; trying to resolve the matters in mediation with fellow peers may also be just the answer. We can talk and find out if the situation and concerns are appropriate for mediation with a skilled and trained mediator.
There is no cost for services to youth in Burke, Caldwell and Catawba Counties. The center is funded through the NC Department of Public Safety via the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council.
